icmeler in May

Hi We have had June holidays in Icmeler for many years now but were wondering, because of flight costs, what the resort and weather was like in May. Can anyone help?

May is my month of choice, and is the month of my first ever visit, the years I've been able to go, I've always gone in May. Once or twice there's been a bit of rain, but the clouds have always cleared away quckly to leave the blue skies, there is a nice breeze that keeps things bearable that seems to disappear as the weeks get hotter. Everything is fresh and new and it's not too busy - love it! We're going out a bit later than normal this year, on May 25th, so I'll be wondering what it's like in June!

We're heading over on May 11th as opposed to first two weeks in September last year. Somebody mentioned on my thread a few weeks back that it got a lot cooler at night and a cardi or something similar may be of use

Can anybody give any rough ideas of the actual temperatures in May?

We always go last week in May first in June to celebrate our anniversary there, couple of days of rain last year but temps still hitting 30c, didnt need cardie at nights , love it may and sept weather just right both months.Rog.

I thin we will have a very nice May this year weather wise

It has been so cold through the winter everyone is expecting a nice summer

My family and I have been many times in May and we have all definetely needed a cardie/pashmina on most nights as it it quite cool. Last year we went in June and the last few days we were there it was very cool at night so I will advise you to take something warm for the cool evenings. Days are usually hot and sunny but there can be a day or two of rain, I take a brolly from poundland and leave it there, give it to the cleaner or someone.

I'd certainly have something with you. I've always had a light cardi or two and a pashmina, not needed them so far but it does get cooler for sure. After having to buy uggs and hoodies last October, I think I'll always be prepared when I go in future at whatever time of year! We always seem to get the best tan in May too, as it's not too hot to sit out in so you tend to spend longer in it - not like July last year when we came back paler than when we went cause it was soooo hot we just looked for shade all the time! 74 days and counting....
