Help - Restaurant Name

Postby dotty » 05 Feb 2012 14:03

Having a mental block, trying to remember the name of the restaurant along a bit from Champion Bar, its just round the corner from Buffallo Bar. We ate there a few times last year and I can't for the life of me remember the name....its an age thing!! Sure Gene will know it, but replies welcome from anyone - thanks

Tin Tin bar is our local & is immediately opposite Champions restaurant/bar. Run by brothers Cenk & Berek, decent guys who are very helpful & won't rip you off. Offers cheap drinks & large portions of good quality food. Looking forward to more Effes & local brandy & coke there this year. Worth a visit but was very popular last year & sometimes there were no tables available but luckily customer turnover is quite good.

Have you tried their deep fried ice cream, if not give it a go - you won't be disappointed.

Dotty, you could have used the map on
http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8& ... 8e86a260a2
I'm always forgetting the names of places and am frequently looking them up on the map. I find it gets a bit complicated when they change their names though and find it difficult to keep up... and I definitely think it's an age thing

Typically at Tin Tin the portion is quite large - enough for my OH & I to share, absolutely wonderfull if accompanied by a Baileys. Strangely it doesn't seem to be ordered often, in fact if you see someone eating it probably us!!
