Arya Apartments (aka Club Arya)

Postby JenSto » 30 Jan 2012 21:30

hi all,
My family (4) + friends (family of 4) are going to Icmeler on 17th Aug staying at the Arya for 2wks. We have never been to Turkey before so would appreciate any comments/tips/advice/maps and pics if possible. Presumably the beach is sand/shingle? All info is greatly appreciated as I am soooo excited after reading topics on this forum I think I am gonna burst before our 201 day countdown is over  I apologies in advance if you get fed up of me, but I so want this to be the dream holiday (as I arranged if=t for both families)
Thanks very much

hI Jeanette, You will absolutely love Icmeler. The people the food/drink and just the overall place is amazing.I have been 9 times now and am heading back again on 28th may for 11 nights. The beach is lovely with plenty sunloungers.
There are so many different eating places so you can eat out in different places for every meal. You will find that a lot of us get excited on the run up to the holiday so please feel free to join in.
Enjoy your holiday when it comes, and im sure you will be smitten after your 1st visit. Jacky aka fifegirl.

Hi jeanette,
Welcome to the forum, take a look at http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8& ... 8e86a260a2 If you scroll down the left side, you will find the names of bars and apartments, the Ayra are on the list....by clicking the name, that will show the location and also give you an idea of the location of bars/resturants people are writing about.
Also look at http://www.icmeler360.com this is a virtual Icmeler, not as good as the Real thing and still under construction , but will give you an idea of what to expect. As the Ayra are Non Icr, only basic answers to questions about them can be given.....then the topic may be locked.......depending on the Moderators..
Enjoy reading everything about Icmeler, and Ask away.....someone will be along with the answer

Hi Jensto

We are regular visitors to Icmeler and love the place. We have also stayed at the Arya and found them to be very clean family run by very friendly people. They have a little supermarket next to the hotel, ideal for basics. You are just 10 minutes walk to the centre and about the same to the beach. Restaurants are plentiful and we have never had a bad meal, you can eat as cheap or as expensive as you wish. The people who work in the resort on the whole are both helpful and friendly. Hassle is minimal and a friendly no thank you generally dose the job. Lazy days boat trips are well worth the money, I would recommend you shop around for them as you will have a lot of choice. I would suggest not to use the reps. ICR have good trips and in my experience are very reasonable. Hope you have an excellent holiday, but be warned Icmeler can become addictive. Ronnie

Lovely apts,I stayed there in 2010 and have booked to go back again in September this year, spotless, and the staff are not pushy asking you to eat there. The road at the side will take you to the canal and beach in 5 minutes.Great choice,Im sure you will like it there.Very friendly family that run this place.

Thanks very much for that Chris, you really have put my mind at rest. Funny how u get all worked up when u plan a hol for not just ur own family but that of your best friends too. I had read quite a few diff reviews from diff sources and had started to get myself a little anxious - as long as the standard of cleanliness is reasonable I will be very happy coz we can block out the sound of traffic by having an extra nightcap here and there ha ha   if you have any pics you are willing to share I would be very grateful if u could email me a couple
Thanks very much
