Accomadation booked for August.....yippeeeee!

Postby Chris221273 » 09 Jan 2012 13:45

We are now booked in with ICR for August, staying at the Senem Apartments this time, which by the sounds of it was a good choice.
And a big thank you to JT for going above and beyond the call of duty to make it possible.

Hi Chris,

Great choice I am sure you will love the Senem I was there at the end of September and booked again for 28th May for 18nights. We new Erhan & Freddie from the last place they worked at the back of the Old Village and decided to visit them last May and now will not be returning to the back of the Old Village.

Freddie and Musti are excellent so I am sure you will have a brilliant time.

Thank you bankielass.
It looks really nice from what I've seen picture wise.
Anita and I very briefly explored the old village last August but literally saw very little, a few restaurants but that was it.
Am Guessing we only scratched the tip of the iceberg so to speak.

I certainly will patsie, will let everyone know the deals/rates/weather etc.
Funny really, never been abroad and made such good friends (as in locals) who we can't wait to see.
One of the many reasons Icmeler is sooooo much different to anywhere else!
Also looking forward to showing Anita's children where I proposed to their mum :-D

Nice to hear you are returning to Icmeler, after some of your posts last season it looked as if you would be giving it a wide birth. That was you learning curve of the resort, you will be much more relaxed when out and about next time and will enjoy it much more. :D

Last year was definitely a learning curve.
We have both said how much we are looking forward to going back with a bit of icmeler savvy behind us.
Will probably still give the market a wide berth though, unless the kids want to go look.
And looking forward to doing more excursions this time too.
Will be keeping a close eye on the travellers cheques too!
