You are right Sharon, this was actually one of the ongoing issues we had. Here is the insight for you:
This
hotel gave rooms to bedbanks like hotels4u etc rooms at a very low rate and on my meeting with the manager, i have asked him to at least give those same rates however in return, although he had promised, he did not give us the same rates as he did for other agencies.( which we saw clearly few weeks ago on our researches)
When we have started doing our prices for 2012 we have evaluated all contracts and this one was left a side to deal with later since there was no way we could sell at a loss! Anyhow, we were not sure which way to go about it and simply moved on to other issues but thanks to you, we have now decided to take it off our listings as we dont even want to deal with this hotel nor do we want make 10 pence on a booking

Hope this reasoning justifies why there was such a huge gap between us and other agencies for this hotel.
As for Icmeleronline pricing, and comparing to sites that sell rooms, please do remember that if and when you are faced with a double or over booking at a given hotel, there is not going to be anyone you can depend on in the resort to solve your problems right there and then...or if you are upset with a part of your accommodation or holiday, you may have some trouble getting it sorted as opposed to having it dealt with right away with ICR...even then
we are still the CHEAPEST for various hotels like Aqua and the Blue Rainbow, Demircioglu Apartments, Rhodes Apartments, Mete Apartments and for few others... As for this Kapmar issue, it was not a matter of profit margin so of course the difference was not for the service provided...we dont provide services costing that high anyway:) , it was the hotel charging total different rates to different companies for 2012 ..
