We met up with a family who'd booked there after losing their original holiday when Aegean went under. They said no cleaning was done and the apartments had seen better days, but they were making the most of it as it meant at least they were in Icmeler. They ended up cleaning the apartment themselves and their kids spent a lot of time at our aparts where they had friends staying.
From what I can gather, a lot of Turkish children spent time at the Newport - think they were the cleaners and staff's children.
In a nutshell, cheap and basic.
Not sure how much this will help?

As Fanny said no cleaning done - apparently the cleaner walked out! Very basic apartments, hardly any crockery/cutlery, sun doesnt reach the pool until midday. We had no light in our bathroom for 5 days, only 1 towel and the shower didnt drain. I really wouldnt recommend these apartments unless they do some major improvements over the winter.
