Apartment sugestion for 2012

Postby Cummo » 09 Sep 2011 17:44

Hi all

Thinking of returning in July 2012...just me and Zena this time...no kids...grandkids, friends or bestest mates (and thats definate,i'm not giving in this time! This year ended up with 8 of us) We had a good time but came back sooooo tired.

So what are the best ICR aparts in your opinion? Nice balcony with good views, shade on balcony about 4pm, reasonable sized pool and attractive bar area.

May do 2 centre.. (done Istanbul 3 times) again any ideas???

JT ??

Hi cummo, Take a look at the Rhodes.........all though I have not stayed there, they look as though they have a nice large pool, nothing built around them and the sun is behind the balcony at 4pm, or the Mete nearer the centre only nine apartments, Sabri's Bar, the Sun is at the front, but the end three apartments (to the left) have a side balcony that should be shaded should you be able to request them. These are quite large, can't comment about Rhodes.
But J.T. will know of better.
Enjoy Steve

The boys are ok John

Side Icmeler along the coast is about 4-5 hour drive

Mostly 5 star all inclusives over there and lots of no Europeans, though I think they may be now part of Europe

juju if you look on the forum under the holiday feedbacks section jt has put reviews on for alot of the accommodation we have includling the Melita. These reviews are guests who have stayed there this year and were e-mailed to us by the guests at the end of their holidays. I think this should help your decision.

I have made sure to book Rhodes well in advance ready for June and September next year. Might try and sneak another one at the end of July, if I can get the available week. If not Rhodes, I would say Eden Gardens if you don't mind being a lot further back into the old village. If I was going alone, I might consider there again as I love the walk but the rents would get knackered everyday!!

Now that Daystar seem to have bucked up their ideas I would also recommend them too. Pretty good value too by all accounts i.e. from what I have heard from visitors this year which is really good news.
