sanjo, you will have to claim off the CAA if you paid with a debit card,go to their website and download a form, remember to make copies of everything you send off to them, they have a habit of losing them !! you will get refunded, but will take some time.

Easyjet speedy boarding at Dalaman Airport

Postby reesy1959 » 22 Aug 2011 13:26

Travelling with Easyjet from Bristol for the first time next month and I was just wondering if anyone has used the speedy boarding for Easyjet at Dalaman Airport.

I dont know if it would be worth the extra £20 each if everyone was let through together at Dalaman, but I would hate to be sat more than a few rows away from Phill.

Two flights booked on Mastercard during the last 6 months already back in my account.
Two lots of flights booked 12 months ago are still ongoing but no problems, should be in my account within the next two weeks.
Total over £1300.

Just checked internet banking now, and 2 flights for £287 and £314 booked in June 2011 have been paid back into my Mastercard Acc yesterday. I called them up and the other flights which were booked in June 2010, for this October £340 should be paid back in within the next few days.

Cost of three flights refunded today. Now awaiting a separate booking for four with 'consequential losses' which is going to take longer. I'll pay for everything £100+ in future with my cc for the consumer protection. It's just not worth the risk any more with so many companies going bust.

We have changed our flights for this year from Cardiff to Bristol, and earlier dates. I will ask them tomorrow about consequential losses under section 75. We ended up paying just over £500 for the flights, plus £110 return transfer from Maesteg to Bristol.

Don't use Speedy boarding at Bodrum, flew from their on Monday, all planes are boarded by bus, speedy boarders called onto bus first and then everyone else boarded forcing the speedy boarders to the far side of the bus, guess who was off the bus first, yes the none speedy boarders including me, I got a nice extra leg room exit row seat.

Dalaman should be OK as you board by air bridge most of the time, only once I have used a bus to a remote stand.

From Monarch's website:

why have I not received my tickets?

We are a ticket-less airline. All you need to check in is your booking reference along with your passport or a valid EU national identity card (supported by any other relevant documentation such as visas).

do I need to take my itinerary or any other printout with me to check-in?

You do not have to have your itinerary as long as you have your booking reference. However, it would be advisable to take your itinerary with you for reference.

I would check the company that you booked with as even if you have no flight tickets you should have your ATOL receipt at least along with the documents from the travel company for your accommodation

Depends on what your Travel Republic reference starts with, if its EUF then you just need your flight invoice when you check in. If its EUR then you shouuld have received tickets.
