Really nice quality photos, I would love a camera that gives good quality without over the top prices.

Any recommendations?

My Sony A200 Digital SLR cost about £250 I think.. it's not top of the range by a long shot, if anything it's just and entry level camera but it works for me most of the time. At times I'd like a better camera but the pennies won't stretch to anything more.
I can't really recommend anything as I've really stopped looking at them since getting mine but I'm sure there's others out there who could recommend something and it wouldn't surprise me at all if you could get something better than mine for the same as I paid.

Thats a reasonable price Bazza, and its a price that I wouldn't really like to go over. Food for thought now for Phill for my Xmas present :D

Save a few pennies (or pounds) and get a 200mm zoom lens too if you can.. that's what I have, could do with a 300mm really but again the pennies are tight so I'll have to make do - for now!

Zoom lenses vary in price.. yes you have to buy them seperately so it's worth shopping around once you have the camera.. (we'll get reprimanded for discussing this in open forum if we're not careful  )

Fantastic pictures,, really catches the atmosphere of icmeler and the folk in it. I think you should pick a photo and get it entered into competition.

We were caught in the fallout of Holidays4u going under, but it was only our return flight, we ended up in Manchester instead of Gatwick..

What lovely pictures for a wet, grey August Day. I must say, the canal area is very, very sad. Seems such a shame.
The old saying comes to mind, "if it aint broke dont fix it."!

It was bang in the middle of the beach.. if you walk down from town just go straight onto Coco Beach.
It's not there anymore, it was where you could get a massage but they had to move so it's actually on the beach now (unless they've crept back into the water again now)
