2012 Booked..

Postby biddy » 02 Aug 2011 17:19

Just booked our flights and apartments for next year...Got a good price on the flights, get them while you still can with Aegean.....Should be in Icmeler right now but, still here in Manchester.
Roll on 2012....Thanks ICR and thank you J.T.

Well, fortunately for us i only booked flights for next year......Am sorry for all those who have booked for this summer and have had their holiday plans ruined. :(
I do hope you are all able to recover your costs and manage to get that holiday next year..

Can anyone who has booked flights with Aegean before tell me how often they change flights once booked? A friend of ours booked with them for June this year and then flight was changed by a whole 2 days! Made it difficult with time off work and accommodation which had been booked separately. Admit prices for 2012 are good but dont fancy the idea of such big changes once you have booked

EVERy flight company that hasn't gone bust this year has made changes to its flight times and days

All I have seemed to have done this year is alter peoples booking times and dates and thankfully without many problems

Just booked apartment for June 2012, yippee!! And on JT's recommendation thinking I will book flights soon too with TC. £190 each from Gatwick is really good, can't afford to lose out on those.

Seriously thinking of booking a weekend out there just for the hell of it. Hmmm 2 days in the sunshine. Is it worth it I have to ask myself. Probably not, but I miss it so.

Sami, me and my friend went for the weekend last July on a whim. We work together and have the same birthday. We were due to got out for a meal with our friends on the friday night and just got talking at work in the afternoon and said wouldn't it be lovely to be in Icmeler right now and then thought what is stopping us. We booked some flights for £140.00 each - left work at 5.30, got home, packed some hand luggage, train to gatwick and were flying off by 9.30. Had a brilliant weekend and back to work on the Tuesday. Was I exhausted - yes, would I do it again - yes.
