Is this the Selen2 hotel in Icmeler, if it is, we were there last year.

We had a lovely time, the pool is nice and it has the benefit of a slide & a baby pool if that interests your family? Rooms were small but thats the norm in turkish hotels.

People and waiters were very nice and friendly but the majority of them had changed when we went back to visit this year.

The man that owns it is a very hardworking man who owns a number of hotels and jewellers and likes everything 'just so' which means he comes across a little aggressive & a bit of a mean boss - but in all honesty you can't really blame him as its his livelyhood.

We enjoyed it and would stay there again. It is about 6-8 mins walk to the beach and about 5mins to the canal.

Any more Q's, please feel free to ask.

Hey Karen - look like we will have stayed in the same hotels in Icmeler! :D

Yeah forgot the pool was in the shade in the afternoon, unless you were lucky enough to get the sunbeds on the opposite side of the hotel by the slide

Did you see Murat whilst you were there? Isn't he just FAB!

Hey you wouldn't have missed him! He is a deaf mute man who speaks via signlanguage. He worked in the Laundry area of the hotel last year (in the window in the basement by the pool table) he and my son used to pass each other sweets through the window

He is mad on keep-fit and does his weights down there on his breaks, he goes for a 6 mile run every morning too and he has muscles to die for 8) He also used to do some of the entertainment on the turkish nights by doing silly dancing etc - my son used to call him the clown.

We went back to visit this year in August and he was there then. Not sure he is in the laundry anymore though.

murat does the one dance sex bomb that a guy called glyn from manchester invented three years ago and a guy called eric was the one who use to do it murat now works in marmaris and come over every turkish night for this one dance,i was there this year watching and think some one needs to tell the managment that it benifits the quest if they were to put some lighting as so people can see what they were paying for.
More than likley a very good turkish night if you could see it.

I don't think that anyone dare talk to the management, he is a bit scarey! LOL!

We popped in during the day and Murat happened to be there too, I think I remember him saying he moved to Marmaris now.

Oh please don't be put off by what I said about the manager - he is in no way offensive towards the holidaymakers he just makes sure that wveyone is doing their job properly and it's funny to see all the waiters find something to do when he comes around.
