What i can never understand is how do they remember your name when there are so many people visiting during the season but they still remember your name! thats what proves to me that they are interested in what you say. some people say 'they're only after your money' - but they do it in a nice way and there's the difference

oddly enough though, we seem to remember each other too from ho to hol - and how many times does that happen when you go somewhere else for your hol ???

 It also amazes me when they remember who you are, they get so many tourists and still remember you each year...not like when you go to your own town and even if you where to shop in the same shop all the time..they still don't know you like the Turkish!

I think one of the main reasons people keep going back to Icmeler is because it is really safe. We have been going to Icmeler for a good few years now and have never felt threatened at all. I think its the complete opposite , everybody looks after everybody.

P.S. The people are fantastic too, they are just like family. :D :D :D

Talking about being safe, when we go to the beach and we both go into the sea at the same time you can leave your valuables near your sun bed eg mp3 player, watch, money & nothing has ever been stolen. i think that's pretty amazing in this day & age

A friend of mine returned home from Icmeler. Several days later she noticed her diamond eternity ring was not on her finger. She looked everywhere. She then remember the last time she had it was at the Avlu 4 apartments where we were staying. She sent them an email not really expecting any good news. However one of the staff had found it in the apartment and handed it in.

So now we have to go back to Icmeler to collect it.
