Terrible, terrible news about Aegean and my heart goes out to those of you who booked with Aegean and haven't flown yet. Our flights were with them, so we count ourselves VERY fortunate to at least have got here and we're trying not to worry about how/when we'll get home. Return flights are on 22 August, so we're hoping that we're OK and at worst a little delayed.
More fortunately, i was soooooooooo close to taking advantage of their ridiculously cheap 2012 flights just before we flew, and decided thank goodness against it.

Anyway, off to phone home now to let OH know that he may have put up with missing us for a bit longer than planned - and that unless he takes out a second mortgage,he wont be able to get a cheap deal to join us after all - ahh well

You're right not to worry too much about getting home, why let is spoil your time there as worrying won't change anything.

Shame about your OH not being able to join you though, can he not get a cheapy E**Y J*T flight at all?
