totally agree in getting a bargain and helping the smaller travel agencies ,and am very tempted to book for next year but am not sure if i will still have a job by then.also noticed agean are not offering a no surcharge promise this year. listerning to a travel expert on the bbc after goldtrail collapse last year it was said package deals have more protection.

JT do you know how long this offer is on for? I have just checked and my, my husband and both kids can travel last 2 weeks of six weeks holidays next year for just slightly over £500 and from EMA which is 20 minutes from us. I am just scared about flight changes at the last minute next year or them going bust. We haven't been able to afford a holiday for the past two years so to book this and loose it all would be heart wrenching.

this is excellent..but Aegean always state the first to book get it the cheapest and go up as
they sell seats.. opposite to everyone else..i booked on first day and have paid more than the prices now .. do you call this fair to us people that booked earlier and we had friends book last week and paid over £200 each now they have dropped them think they should get there priorities right first

I agree with you joan1950.I booked, with difficulty, the day they went on sale when the site crashed, they said it was someone doing automated bookings !!maybe they kept the cheapest back for a sale like this !! unfair.I paid £150 with baggage which i was pleased with, but a couple of days ago it was £134 with baggage, definetly out of order aegeanflights, the first to book dont get the cheapest any more.

I done the same and booked early for the cheapest price, as advertised on ageanflights.com
I can now buy the same flights for £20-£30 less per person.
Just my luck :(

rakigirl wrote:Hate to say it ... but if its too good to be true then!!!!... We are all goosed for next year with Onur air.
Onur air are canceling /merging flights for this year 2011, they are now selling flights for 2012 cheaper than the release date a few month past.
Could this be Onur Air cashing in before the bust? hope not as Ive got £2600 tied up with them for this year and next year.
AT the end of the day bookings are down for Turkey this year,,, and next year is looking the same . if OnurAir have to have a sale this early in the year they must need the money.

thoughts.

Even I seen the signs
Iam not happy with this.

H4U and Agean should hang there head in shame...
What happens with Onur Air I dont know....

I really hope this is just a big joke.

Absolutely scandalous - they should be so ashamed taking all the money knowing the predicament that was to come out a few days later

I agree. I was made redundant just over a couple of years ago and luckily I got another job but on such a lot lower pay so we have had to sacrifice holidays abroad. We paid £546 on Monday for these flights and I know it isn't a lot but it is to us because we have saved this money and we were also treating our daughter for next year as part of her 18th birthday present so I am just so so angry now, tears are turning into anger very quickly
