I always order online and its the rate when you order that you get. Also free home delivery if you order over £500, and the delivery is really quick. Thoroughly recommend

How do you pay by card online though Dotty as the website says they won't accept card payments or cheques :?
Is there a visa card option when you fill in the order details?

There is a topic on this 4 posts down, there is also a currency sticky topic towards the top of the page, these are frequently updated so worth watching.

You are on travelex.co.uk Janey? When you place your order you have to pay by credit or debit card.

No Dotty, there's been some crossed wires, lol!

I've been refering to Travel Fx Ltd, their rate is the best I've found each day, they have a slightly better rate than Travelex.

http://travelfx.co.uk/index.php

That explains how you paid by card, lol! :-)

Looking on the Moneysavingexpert site it is down from yesterday.

saw 2.71 at Dawson & Sanderson Travel Agents at lunchtime so got another £200.

only got 2.30 in resort last Sept.

Bought 4 lots this year 2.50, 2.55, 2.62 and now 2.71.

Would have done better if Id held on - but happy overall - much better than 2010

Pete.

We don't go until 26 September but ordered some Lira today from Travelex to good an offer to miss. As we usually find that the rate isn't as good at the end of the season compared to the start or middle.

I got 2.72 at Travel Fx today. It was a bit down on yesterday but I was watching the rate go down on Garanti Bank website so thought I'd best get them while they weren't too bad.

I'll take the rest in GBP and change it on an 'as and when' basis.

This time in 4 weeks we'll have landed 20 minutes ago :-) :-)
