Hotel Pool Bar /Snack Prices

Postby janeypoos » 25 Jul 2011 08:01

Hi we're planning on doing a bit of pool hopping when we go (4 weeks,2 days and counting!) as the pool at our apartments is only small and I think my son might find it a bit boring after a while.

Can anyone tell me if the bar/snack prices vary greatly in the different hotels or are they all generally the same?

If we can find a good pool for him and a decent bar tariff for me I think we'll be sorted :D

Hi Janey, think most of the pool bars will be much the same price-wise, maybe a lira here or there different. We go to Golmar Beach which has two slides which your son might like, also the beach is just in front of the hotel. Drinks at the bar are same as in resort. Hope this helps, but I know there are a few other hotels/apartments which have slides now.

Oh thanks for that Dotty, we'll be sure to take a wander down there then.

Are the hotels ok about non guests using the sunbeds too? I know when we last came (2000) it was totally acceptable to use the facilities so long as you bought a drink and/or food but I realise that was a long time ago, lol! :)

Thanks,
Jane.

Still the same Janey, they're quite happy for you to use their facilities in return for buying a drink. Have a great time x

Oh thats good then :-)

My son will be 14 by the time we go but he's the size of a man (!), do you think the water slides at your hotel are suitable or are they for smaller kiddies really? xx

If you're doing a fortnight we'll just miss you as we're going four weeks today (scream!!) :D

I'm so excited too (although not in need of incontinence pads, lol!), I'm getting a tad obsessed now, well if I'm honest I've always been obsessed but as the time is getting nearer it's kind of taking over my every waking (and sleeping) thought :D :P
