I understand your point of view but, if I can get them cheaper then I will, might sound harsh but it's the way of the world, especially these days. As a nation we give massive amounts of aid and help to third world countries, problem is nothing ever changes because the money never gets to the people who need it, I know that's a little off the topic, but as I said needs must in hard times. Personally I think the shoes look like they'd last no more than 5 minutes, they're more like slippers...must be my age I'm most likely out of touch.

can i just add, instead of giving aid. give condoms then we wouldnt have so many starving people!! again harsh but true!!

This is not the solution. There are no residential homes for the elderly and unlike Western so called civilisation the grown up children do look after the elderly in 3rd world countries with no question at all- it is the done thing so if you have no children then who will look after you when you are old and unable to work? No pensions there. In fact nothing at all for the aged and disabled. If you do not have family to look after you then you starve, there is no help at all from the government. Admitted some have a few children but as the child mortality rate is very high and most do not even reach adulthood what else can you suggest? Its a vicious circle.
