Has anyone been on this excursion? Can you recommend it?

We fancy being a bit lazy this year and fancy a change of scenery but my friend isn't really into lazing about on a boat all day, so thought this trip may be ideal.

Been to Cleopatras Island about 3 times, but not on an excursion. I normally drive to the harbour and take the small water taxi out. Takes about 30 minutes to drive to the harbour, 2nd left off of the road from Marmaris to Govacek and the harbour is down on the right about a mile or so past the Breakfast place (forget the name). I think it was about 15 TL for the water taxi, takes about 20 minutes and there is an entry charge when you get to the island. belive the last water taxi goes back around six.

I have been told you can no longer go on the beach which the Island is famous for, when we went years a ago this was allowed and it was the best sand (More like tiny pearls) we have ever been on.

Thanks for info. Sounds like a good bet.

Or can anyone suggest another trip that involves time lazing about on a beach for quite some time. We've done Dalyan so fancy something different.
