Hi Jules

A friend of mine travelled to Icmeler with this airline and has told me they are okay. She was quite happy. She's travelled with them more than once.

I hope she's right. We're booked to travel to Icmeler with them next August!!! :?

Not a problem with them and must fly with them at least 10 times a year.

No entertainment but just read a book

We have used this airline many times and found them to be the best for leg room but the meals are not very good .

I used them 3 times this year.

I flew out of Gatwick to Dalaman at New Year - all was fine, and again from Exeter to Dalaman in May and August - both times again absolutely fine.

There isn't any in-flight entertainment (except for altitude, speed etc on drop-down monitors) and the food's a not fantastic but is edible. There wasn't a bar service on any of my flights, though you could get wine or beer and all the soft drinks were free and plentiful - stick a couple of miniatures in your hand luggage if you like to start your holiday as you mean to go on...

Cigs were cheaper on board too - if you're willing to take the risk of being able to get the brand you smoke.

Actually I've probably made them sound awful - but they're fine.... really!

We flew with Onur Air for the first time this year and the flights were on time both ways and to us that was quite novel and being 6 foot plus I found that the leg room was excellent, another plus. Don't expect too much entertainment or information though and the meals are OK, no better or worse than any of the charter carriers. Only problem that we had was that they only carried about six miniatures of vodka :!:

Let's face it, it's only a four hour flight and the time passes quickly.

We have used them twice and are going again with them next August. We found the flight to be ok the meals are ok it is turkish food but it is edible even my two kids enjoy the food so it cannot be that bad. The only thing I would fault it on is that the staff only speak limited english but they were very nice and tried to help you out. You should be ok with them and as someone else said the flights are always on time we have never been delayed with them.

I thought it was the worst plane i had ever been on! the food was discusting (not even edible) and there was a tv on playing loud so you couldn't go to sleep

but every one else seems to think it's ok so it must just be me!

Flew with Onur in July and flights to and from Dalaman were on time. Drinks and duty free service was good, food basic and no entertainment, but just take a good book to pass the time. Can't complain about them. Would use them again.

We used Onur Air in Sept. Never Again.

Firstly the food was horrible, the plane was old.

Secondly, they cancelled our flight home and we were stranded for another 3 days in Icmeler with no clean clothes, money or anything.

No explanation was given.

I loved Icmeler so staying for 3 more days was not a total disaster but after 2 weeks i wanted to go home.

We have used them twice this year first time in May and again in Sept and all flights were on time. We found the flight to be ok the meals are ok and it is turkish food. The staff are very nice and are particularly good with helping parents with their children.
There is no inflight entertainment so bring a book or an ipod or you may get bored. Would definitely fly with them again as they are good value for money.

We thought they were fine.Planes we flew on seemed very new.Is there some airline you get wonderful food on?Its always poor isnt it?And we thought theres was about the same as most..plus free soft drinks, not many do that now. Also you could be on the flight with the steward whos missed his vocation...should be working the bars.Flight out 1 hour late..perhaps the norm nowadays..from Gatwick.Flight back on time!

Same here. We use them twice every year and no problems. Totally agree about food, it's edible which is all can be said for any airline I have used (even when they were charging extra)

Just a bit of info for all that booked the cheap flights, i received my invoice this morning for my flights for next year, and printed in bold is "In flight meals are no longer provided by this airline" so everyone remember to take your sandwiches

Ive flew with Onur air a few times, 3 times this year alone. Theyre absolutely fine, no problems at all. If you ask for extra leg room my exprience has been that it has been given free of charge although Im sure someone on here will say different. Ive never eaten the food so cant comment but did notice that most passengers that i could see did not even open the cartons. Im sure its edible but cold chicken nugget type things at silly o clock isnt my idea of a meal!
