Can anyone recommend a top notch Restaurant?

Postby Chris221273 » 07 Jul 2011 19:36

As it's our first holiday together I would love to make our first night really special by taking her to a really nice restaurant.
From what I've read on the forum they're all pretty good, but I'd like something special.
Maybe with nice scenery/views, amazing food and lovely friendly service.
Your recommendations please.
Thank you.

Bamboo Restaurent on the Sea Front.
Fantastic views of the Sea, mountains and Islands.
Friendly staff and good entertainment after 10pm.

Chris,I really think you will find it hard to have bad meal anywhere in icmeler. if you read through the forum each and every member has there own favourite eating place. I would just wander around have a look at the menus, how many people are eating, how clean the place looks and what the staff are like. if they are hassling you or making you feel uneasy or they do not have any crack, move on. There are plenty more to chose from.
Loveboat its a bit fancy for me but have heard good reports.

Loveboat's too expensive for me to want to try it
My favorite for a special night, lovely homecooked Turkish food and a great relaxed atmosphere has to be the Selam - no great views, just great hosts and a little oasis in the heart of Icmeler

Yes thats the one Diane we went to see Stella that night , it looked fab, really busy as well. One of our group was gonna go for their wedding anniversary, but never got round to it, like you might give it a whirl in September :)

Try the Wayside, fab place with amazing food, and deserts that are delicious. Friendly, welcoming staff. Known Hamdi, Rachel, Ozkan and Louisa for over 10 years. Lovely team who have offered lots of help and advice over the years. Pop in for a coffee and cheesecake and look at their menu. The cheesecake is gorgeous. Down the road at the side of Tansas on left hand side
Enjoy
