Icmeler train

Postby Me » 30 Sep 2006 21:18

Hello everybody!

Just a wee question ,i was wondering if the wee train has started to run again. We were in Icmeler last year in October and it was nowhere to be seen.I know it was taken off the road because of the accident a few years ago,but i really miss the wee trip round Icmeler.

Sometimes see the front bit going round doing promotions for various Town/National celebrations and events. But no train. Sorry

 We found the train...parked in a garden in the Old Village - probably the owners garden. It wasn't fully there though it was just the front part!

I heard that the taxi drivers had complained about the train taking a lot of their bussiness so the council didnt renew the trains licence this year, hence no train.
