Well we arrived at Hotel at 6am this morning turkey time and the day is gorgess, the pools are clear n the sky is blue, cloud free n warming up nicely.

Janet just sorting cases out n im happy sat by pool with a coffee n laptop...for now!

09.50am n sat relaxing around the pool n looking like a based Turkey. weather is great n just fine for a relaxing day before hitting Old Town tonight!

Absolutely roasting !!!! Hotel (Club aquarium) Thermometer which is set at back of bar sais 38 at the moment. 5 mins in the sun and your dripping wet. A very slight breez n glories blue sky's.

Will let you know what the exchange rate is later as we are going to change some money on way to the Love Boat tonight.

Good for you ,this is great to hear. We are staying at the Grand Aquarium in 4 weeks (5th time) . One of the members of staff was always trying to make us stay up at the Club, so let us know how you find it up there plus lots of pics if you can, have a great time.

Our 2nd time at the club n prefer it to the grand. you can get a free ride up to the grand on a night but prefer the smaller atmosphere here as there is only 39 rooms and 2 pools so plenty of room.

Just met a couple of ICR forum members (Will have to ask their names again?) that are here and going home tomorrow. they have just been informed their plane has to stop off from Dalaman to Bodrum to pick up more passengers and they are going to be on the tarmac for 2 hrs. great finish to the hol...not !

Its 14.15 Icmeler time and 34 in the shade and 43 at the pool. Ive had to give up in the sun cos its roasting! janet and Daughter still basting them selves!

Well its either love boat or the sports bar tonight. all i know is i fancy a nice big steak n then a wonder down to majestics or venise bars for some micky Jackson....for a change.

Right thats it till later. I can feel a Brandy and Coke coming on whilst i bask here in the shade and listen to the crickets in the background.

Morning all !!! Phew its hot! 33c in the shade at the moment n rising!

just waiting for my full English at the bar with a massive hangover after a great night out at the Sizzler and then the sports bar to watch the dissapointing boxing match.

Prices have risen since last year but still cant complain as a dam sight cheaper than uk.

Met mahmood at sizzler last night "Best table in the house" lol great guys there. We got our ICR card n had 3 pizza, 3 chips and 4 beers = 78l. approx £33

Then went for a walk around and up to the sports bar as we knew some of the staff from our hotel from last year who worked there. 5 southern comforts, 5 brandy n cokes and 5 beers = 93l. so approx £39

So a great night out for an approx total for 3 of us at = £72. We couldnt do that in Leeds.

Exchange rate been offered is 2.56.5l at local supermarket and exchange shops is 2.55.2l as of last night.


So its a day in the sun again n then out tonight for a meal and a visit to somewhere else? So will update later.
