Only been in the place once, and it was by far the most disappointing meal we've ever had in Icmeler - needless to say we've never been back. Should have been done under the Trades Description Act for whatever it was they called cheesecake! :)

I find the Red Lion to be a bit hit and miss. First time we went the food and service were excellent, huge portions and very well priced. 2nd time the food was a bit bland and the service was a bit poor. Probably something to do with a group of rather attractive women who the waiters were fawning over

I also find the guy on the door just a little too over kean to get you to come into the restaurant

Sad to say that we had the same experience a couple of years ago. We'd passed lots of times and decided to give it a try after all the rave reviews on here. It's the only bad meal we've had in around 15 visits to Icmeler and I'd like to think it was just a one-off.
It was enough to put us off ever returning, but that said, the place wouldn't be as busy as it is year in and out if they served that poor standard of food all the time

Went in the Red Lion last night for the first time and very disappointing. Meals took took nearly an hour to come, were barely eatable and didn't match what was on the menu. Won't go back again, my partner spent the rest of the night ill in bed. Seemed more interested in their entertainment and the white searchlight.

Went there twice last September and never had a problem at all, meals were good and served quickly.
Mates wife expressed how much she loved Baklava and they promised her a tray of it ready for our departure day and sure enough they stuck to their word.
