Best boat trips

25 May 2011 20:25

Hi all again, was just wondering what people think is the best boat trip in icmeler?
As said in previous posts its our 1st time to icmeler,so will all be new for us,have done many on our other visits to gumbet, some great, some ok and some not very great at all, lol!!
Would prefer a boat thats not too overcrowded, maybe all inclusive, but with a nice lunch, and one that stops somewhere for an hour or so,i know asking for alot and sorry if i sound picky!
All info gratefully recieved, many thanks Marie, :D

We do a boat trip every year!

We have been on approx 8 trips on various boats, to be honest not much difference who you go with !
Boats tend to be full but suppose depends what time of year you are travelling

We did see all inc trips offered for £10 the other year but how they make that pay beyond me

Best trips we have had was with Captain Bull~~it you got breakfast at his restaurant then lift to his boat full days entertainment etc

Hi Marie - we've tried AI boat trips and for what it costs, found we prefer not to go on them - prefer to pay as we go and get cold bottles of Efes and fizzy pop for the kids

Friends of ours did that one last year and weren't at all impressed. Said it was very cramped and there weren't enough sunbeds for everyone.

I have used ICR for boat trips in the past, they have a maximum amount of people on the boat, (think its around 30) so there are always plenty of sun beds to be had.

The one we went on was fancy dress, Hawaiin theme, it was a great day.

We always book the boat trips with icr, usually 3 or 4 per holiday as the kids love it. We have always gone on the same boat (and met other forum members) and had a fabulous day. Fresh home cooked chocolate cake and coffee for breakfast (small charge) and lunch is included which is usually chicken, salad, meatballs and pasta which is gorgeous. We have always got a sunbed on the boat too :D

Best boat trips we have found over the years is the Panorama Prenses which a family run boat trip. You book with the guy who has a stall between Erdem cafe and Pier 15 on the front. The BBQ is excellent plenty of beds to go around and the music is on but not too lod. A very relaxing day out

Hi, got back from lovely icemeler on thursday :( . We always use the icr boat trip as u are certain of a bed. We paid £8.99 each and went on the sunday. Only half the beds were used so we could spread out :D we had a fantasic time as we always do.

I went on the BBQ Bays boat trip booked through ICR. £15 and it's all inclusive, it was only about a third full too. I felt bad for drinking so much vodka and coke, not sure they made any money on me :?

Hotels4u & Sunshine Boat

25 Jun 2011 06:39

Dear All,

We booked our trip with our hotel rep from hotels4u. We were told that the boat would carry no more than 25 adults(no children) that we would be collected and dropped off at our hotel. That the boat would travel through a cave.

After the initial confusion of the wrong collection time on the ticket. We were driven to Marmaris stopping at 6 other hotels.I believe the boat was called Sunshine and had 75 sun loungers crammed together like sardines. We had over 55 adults on board with children.

The swimming stops we had were very brief and about 150 meters from the shoreline and in deep water. Not much use for snorkelling We were left in Tunric for 1.5 hours to shop. We were dropped off at Icmeler harbour expecting to meet our transport. But there wasn't any and we never did sail through a cave.

Most of these trips can be booked for half the price in town! Check throughly details of the itinerary with seller and haggle the price would be my advice.
