After reading several reviews on here , we decided that we would give Sidiks a try. I was little sceptical as some restaurants that had been recommended to us weren't that good. What a little gem of a place is Sidik's. There was no hassle for us to go in, we had a look at the menu and were shown to our table. I have 2 young children 6 and 3 who like to run around, I asked to be put near to the pool table so they were out of the way of the majority of eating customers. The service was first class, the drinks arrived, we were given time to have a good look through the menu and weren't rushed at all. I opted for the set menu. I had lentil soup which was delicious, every mouthful had a different taste, the main course was chicken casserole with homemade chips and rice. The casserole was one of the best that I have tried in all the 8 years I have been to Icmeler. The children had chicken nuggets with rice, they aren't too keen on chips, but love the rice in Turkey. For 3 of us including a round of drinks, a large Efes, a coke and a fanta orange was 37 Lira. The children loved the fact that they could see everything being cooked in the kitchen. Sidik came out to see us afterwards and I complimented him on the food and service, they were first class. I must add that the restaurant was very busy, at the end of May, but this didn't stop the excellent service. Sidik offered us a lift home back to our apartments, but we needed the walk, we were that full. Our first port of call when we return in July will be Sidik's.

No where Ozzys was is now Ginos although the original location of Ozzys on the crossroads is very near, Sidiks is just behind the Wembly Bar.

Come out of Ginos and turn left, walk upto the crossroads and go straight across, I believe Sidiks is 50 metres on the right.

Must agree with Revenuegirl. I think Sidik's food is one of the best in Icmeler. His Steak Diane is heaven!!!!

I wonder if you could tell me if Menap, Sidik's brother is working in the restaurant this year. He did mention last year that he might not be in Icmeler this year. They are a lovely family and we think the world of them. I hope they have a great season in their new venture.

Popped in here for a drink and stayed till early hours - we were entertained by Sidik and Eddie - they showed us loads of tricks and we showed them new ones too.. at end of night Sidik drove us home. Unfortunately we did not manage to get back to eat here :( To find Sidiks Family Restaurant - from ICR go up street passed Taxi Rank and Friends Bar - cross main road - pass Romance Bar and straight up that road for about 10 min walk and its on right hand side... :)
