hi jonny
i seen your other post about the safe.
the safest bet is travellers cheques. you will pay a little comission when you buy them but, correct me if im wrong people, you wont pay commisiion when you cash them in turkey as long as its not a bank. read how to cover them and make sure you take the serial numbers and keep these seperate. youll need them if you lose them to cliam.
get a safe. only £10 quid a week but peace of mind and put your cheques and passport in there. the down side of that is you have to look after the key and with no mam and dad there to rely on......
im guessing your only young, firts hol with out mam and dad. check the post about fake alchole and stay safe. have a good one :D

I would say take some lira with you, enough for a day or two, some sterling and mostly travellers cheques as other posts say your covered with them even if you are unfortunate enough to lose them. Also left you a reply on the safes at palm gardens. Friends of our have been there four times and we have stayed there too, never heard of any troubles with the safes.
Tip for you safe key : take a good sized safety pin with you and you can pin it inside your shorts pocket then its even safe when your swimming or on the beach.
