Bags now unpacked, and what a strange two weeks, the first week was like the last week in october, poor weather all week, hotels and bars shutting down all around us and dogs roaming the streets.
The second week however was back to normal weather wise and everything was great. Will post more of a report tomorrow.
By the way i wouldn't recommend the bonjour hotel to anybody, more to follow.

Was in Icmeler 22/9 for one week - weather was dreadful as Andy has said - still warmer than England but what a disappointment. However Icmeler was a beautiful place. Found it exceptionally quiet at night and there were alot of places closing up. Never seen as much rain in UK as we had on the Sunday - it was like a monsoon.

Would definitely go back to Icmeler -

Does anyone know if the weather is normally like this end of September - ive always been to Turkey in July,August when it is boiling so this was a come down even though we expected lower temperatures.

Also the Mersoy Hotel - would not recommend this hotel - the food is atrocious and those guests paying for the mersoy exclusive get the same food and eat at the mersoy so you get nothing exclusive.

Hi susan,

I don't know about the weather in September , but we have been quite a few times in October (around about the 13th)and the weather has always been really nice. We did have a few hours of rain now and again , but it soon dried up and the sun came out. Last year it was very cold at night. We had to wear jumpers and jackets and even then we were still cold ,but we still had a great holiday . After all it was Icmeler. :) :) :)
