I used Alins grill, just down past Tansas last year for take away cooked chicken. Lovely to sit on the balcony with the chicken and the fresh bread from the bakery.

It does make a nice change from eating out every night.

Hi, Take a look at http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8& ... 8e86a260a2 this will help find the locations from your aparts, also try Pizza Tomato good value, opposite Babadan aparts.

Alins isn't far from where we stay and was told to go there by the people who worked in The Elvis Bar, we never did but I've heard good things about it so will def go there this year for the chicken and chill on the balcony one night.

from the alvaro nefis pide is
turn left outside the door and left onto the dry canal
walk up to the top and turn left again onto the main road
and then walk up a bit until you get to the crossroads with azra and aquamarine jewellers on the corners
turn right up there and keep walking up to see it
its almost opposite the babadan apartments
its about a 10 min walk from the alvaro its not that far
hope tese instructions make sense :)

The one that Colette mentioned, next to Wonderboys, they also deliver.

Probably the reason why I gained weight last year, ordering them about 1am is not good for the midriff

We stay in the old village, so its handy to get one of the boys to phone it through, and he appears a few minutes later on his motorbike - proper comfort food before bed :D

Kardelin is also a good one, we've had some lovely takeaways from there. Someone mentioned a few weeks ago that it's moved, I think it's now opposite Tansas, I hope someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

Got back yesterday will post a review soon but must mention that the Kardelin is fantastic, the old one is still there but Memhet has opened a new one opposite Tansis ,reason being that next year the old kardelin and surrounding shops are going to be knocked down and make room for another park and a bus station
