We bought Robinson's in The Best Supermarket across from The Babadan Apartments last year. Can't remember what we paid for it but know that it was expensive.

thanks for all the replies so far,,we were sure we saw some robinsons in icmeler last year, but could not remember where abouts it was,,we can always check out all the shops we come across, :) ,i bought some of the powdered stuff in gumbet 3 years ago it is FAR too sweet,,even when diluted with 2 litres of water  ,,as for the efes,,i honestly prefer the dark efes,,but that is pricey,,everywhere you go,,this year will get a few in + put them in the fridge, for the last drink,,how expensive is expensive, for the robinsons,,can anyone remember ????...
cheers

I thought I had seen squash before in Icmeler but have you thought of buying it from the airport on the way out. I fly from Birmingham and they have a boots and WHSmith after you have gone through passport control. You could always ring the store and ask if they sell the reduced sugar kind. You can also do this with some of your toileteries (sun lotion, shampoo, conditioner - they all wight quite heavy in your 15KG) This would save on your hold luggage allowance. Di.

You can get Robinsons squash in some of the small minimarkets,I have seen it for about 7 lira, the shop keepers can get it now from a wholesalers in Marmaris, somewhere up by kipa along with lots of other English branded foods,ie weetabix etc. :D

if you find american or british makes you will find you will pay a lot extra for them due to high import costs as turkey is outside the EU and is subject to heavy tarriffs from the UK when importing their goods

As I saw Robinsons squash in Arslan supermarket last year I had already knocked it off this year's list. I always take two bottles with us. Out of curiosity I just weighed a full bottle to see what weight I would save in our luggage and each bottle weighed a shocking 2lbs 5ozs, I knew that they were heavy but I didn't realize that we would gain nearly 5lbs in our luggage, so even if it was 10 lira a bottle in Icmeler it is still worth buying there.

thanks [ diane rigby ], ,i never thought about wh smiths or any other shop departure side in the airport,,we fly from newcastle,,,and only usually buy our spirits + our lasses cigs for the holiday + sampling some nice aftershave + perfume.. :)
we have had the turkish butter+the bread is lovely,,tried some of the cooked meats +~ some of the cheeses, and really liked them,,so if we can defo buy sliced bacon in a [ super] market,,we are sorted..as we dont need to bring our travel iron or kettle over this time,,i might still be able to sneak a bottle into the case,,,better to be safe than sorry..
