JEEP SAFARI

Postby barney1uk » 02 May 2011 09:08

We are looking at doing the Jeep safari this year with ICR,
What time does it start and finish?
Are there any swim/refreshment stops?

A "must do" trip. Lasts most of the day, 10.00ish to 17.00 ish if I remember correctly. Be careful to book with ICR and not the steet vendors as some operators use tatty old jeeps. We got the white Land Rovers and we had to use ours to push a blue broken down USA Jeep out of the river bed. (UK 1, USA 0.)

Prepare to get wet and have a whole day of laughs. Many refreshment stops including a swim and lunch stop included and a great day out alround.

One of the best trips we did, but if it's anything like the one we went on you MUST be prepared to get drenched. There were 3 jeeps we hired big water guns off the blokes running the trip ,the jeeps had loads of bottles of water on for reloading your water pistols and throwing at the other people, and inbetween stop offs at local attractions and a waterfall it was out and out water fights with the other 2 jeeps a great day out. We never bothered about jeep safari's before but they are a must from now on.
like I said, if the one you go is like the one we did BE prepared, DO not wear anything you don't want to get soaked, and you will have a great fun day.
