our place is towards the back of Icmeler, and when we want to eat locally, we don't mind the odd 'chippy' from Harry Rams, or as mentioned in your post, Captain Sinbads is always a fantastic meal with great hosts (note that Capt. Sinbads is moving this year to 'Sidiks Family Restaurant' - still in village and same owners - see recent thread in forum).

Enjoy!

Hi Phil,
We have a place in the old village and can highly recommend Captain Sinbads and Cafe Rose. Try Cubana restaurant too. But Tommy's Bar has to be our favourite by far.

I think you can flag a dolmus down just about anywhere really someone will put me right if I am wrong and they stop when requested, they pick up outside Tommy's and drop off there as well.

Which places in Icmeler does the route for the Dolmus to the Old Village pass by, can you hop on it anywhere close to the following places, The Beech,Havana Bar,Mandalin Restaurant,Diva Bar or Florida.
How frequent is its timetable and how is it recognised from the Dolmus to Marmaris

Hi Phil, if as you say you are stopping at the back of the Old Village then Tommys is a must. Excellent food and some fun nights. Captain Sinbads is also brilliant cuisine and in a more Turkish atmosphere.Where are you staying? If its any where near Eden Garden call in for a drink.

Hi Phil,

Try Sidik's Steak Diane if you are calling in at his new restaurant - Sidik's family restaurant (he used to be at Captain Sinbad but now re-located to the above restaurant. Best we have ever tasted in all our 18 years in Icmeler. I would also agree with a previous post that Cafe Rose is worth visiting. We sometimes call lunchtime for egg and chips, followed by her divine pancake with honey and ice cream. Can't wait until the 27th July when we arrive in Icmeler for three and a half glorious weeks (the half is very important, ha ha ha)

Hope this helps.

I had a look at the Icmekler map and I belive that Sidiks is opposite the Wembley bar, probably the Lovestar restaurant was there. So only about a 2 minute walk from Ozzys
