by boat the sea going is very calm but coming back it can get rough, they have a saying "out with the dolphins back with the sharks"

Been going to Icmeler for 21 years now and only done this trip once. Don't know if things have changed but we had to transfer from large boat to small one in the middle of the sea this was very difficult for those on board with mobility problems. Mud baths were good fun but not worth the long journey and as previous post sea on the way back was rough to say the least.

hi crazybabe666 we did this trip a few years age now when our kids were younger, it was a really good day. i would really recommend it , a bit of a journey by boat but lovely. great beach, great sights well worth the effort and the mud baths although they do stink great fun!!!

Hi - we've done this trip twice. We loved both times and even got to see the turtles up close the 1st time we went. The sea is choppy coming back but we just took it as part of the fun. We spent an hour or so on turtle beach which is just a beautiful place. We had great fun jumping the waves
I would definately recommend it and we will definately book to go again when we are in Icmeler in August. Its a great day out. :D

Well, as you're on the Icmeler Online forum, the obvious place to book would be with ICR. If you click on the Icmeler Online Holidays link at the top of the page, there is an excursions section there with details of all the trips offered by ICR!

Like everyone says the boat is rough on the way back, we went last year it was horrific coming back when the tide turned we all thought the boat was going to sink we crashed into the jetty and demlished it  , i spent 2 hours downstairs in the loo whilst hubby was upstairs with a few other people throwing up everywhere, we were all sooo glad to get off the boat, If i went again i would go by bus

Same here so ill on the boat, we are going on bus this year also gives us chance to look around Dalyans little town and spend more time on that fantastic beach.

We have done the Dalyan trip two times and just loved it both times! Will definately go again next summer. I think the trip on ship called Orca ( it's a bigger metal ship) leaving from Marmaris port, was the best so far ( the other one was made by bus). If the sea is rough, it's better to be on the bigger ship and on Orca there's plenty of room inside and outside. The only negative things was, that the ship was very crowded and you had to be quick to get a nice sunbed on the upper deck. The swimming break at Turtle beach could be longer, it was maybe only an hour or so. I also hope somebody would start arranging day trips just to Turtle beach itself, as it would be nice to get to enjoy that for a whole day.

it was orcas fault we crashed into the jetty, it nearly sunk our little boat, never again, we all thought we were gonners  Might hire a car to go there this year
