Yes around £4 - £5 per night, although it may have gone up.

yes as colette said around £4-£5 a night
expensive but the hotels and apartments are not making any money off of this as air con is expensive to run and it costs them about this amount to run it themselves so a justified price
need it in july and august for sure

we are going 2nd week in may i was wondering if air con is usually needed at this time of year, we are also going in september and if last year is anything to go by it is most certainly needed then. if it is needed then i expect it is going to be hot. just what the old bones need after this lousy winter we have had, and some days it is like we are still having. roll on may

The ac is a godsend in August, god knows how you could do without then, or July Sept I'd imagine. We arrived at our apartments last year at around 4 in the morning so didnt have time to have the ac on, this year I will ask them to remember to leave a key for it for when we arrive, as it was 75 degrees when we landed at 1 in the morning.

Hi Billy, you can usually book air con by the day rather than by the week/duration of your stay. THough it usually works out cheaper to book by the week overall, that may not be the case if you only need it for a couple of days because of the heat
Hope that makes sense
