If you did the wristband and paid a pound for it the profits could go to the dogs home

I think that a badge would be better than a wristband as it would be more visible from a distance and so easier to spot a fellow member. You'd have to get pretty close to check out a wristband. Ok if the person is a member but they would think you were a bit strange eyeing up their wristbands if they weren't.:)

Back in the summer of 2007 the same comments were made about recognising fellow members & if my memory serves me right, a yellow round smilie face badge with the words "I'me an Icmelerite" on seemed quite popular, i also remember Gene coming up with something from the song "The Israelites" by Desmond Decker.
But it never happened perhaps the production of a few hundred badges is difficult.
I think many would be happy to pay whatever for one at the ICR office on arrival at our"Heaven on Earth"
I think the design is somewhere back on the posts maybe July 2007.

These badges, bands whatever could also be used as identification for our cheap drinks,we all pay a few lira for one and all profits go to the dogs home.Perhaps JT will have a think about it.

I make badges and quoted on making some when this topic came up the 1st time round. It mustn't have been viable, or my prices where too expensive when delivering to Turkey, as nothing came of it.

Hmm well I thought I would let you all go on with this discussion and eventually someone would come up with the obvious but as it seems no one is going to then please go and look at the original posting about the great offer in resort which is a sticky.

Look at the date it was posted and then read the offer 8)

Sticky just means it's one of the posts at the top of the forum, which stays there rather than falling down the page as it gets older.

Hi All

We could each carry one of the new ICR travel kettles with us. That would leave room in JT's cupboard for some fans

JT,sorry did not read your sticky properly but do not know what you mean when you say a tag,is it a wristband,or something that you put on your keyring or bag, please explain. It still may be an idea to ask for a donation for the dogs home when you give these out, they could save us a fair amount of money if we have several drinks and I doubt that anybody would mind .T.

I would suggest that it would be a name tag that would be pinned on.

Levent at Tandoori still has to decide.

As for donations for the dogs home then that is entirely up to yourselves though we will not be arranging this but you could drop a donation into the office if you so wish and we would make sure that it got to the right people or better still take it to the dogs home and give it direct to Jan

What about a baseball cap with the ICR logo on it.? This would also give protection from the hot sun rays.
