Big change for me, after visiting twice a year for 11 years, going to try Crete in May for a week. Not sure if I'll manage without my Icmeler fix and seeing all the wonderfful friends we've made over the years. Tried Egypt in December for my big 50 and hated every minute of it. Just had a great week in Benidorm with my mum though, did make a nice change to visit somewhere different. Turkey too hot for my mum now, unfortunately.

After going to Icmeler for a few years we went to Majorca for a change. I stood on the balcony of the apartment and looked out and said "mmm it's nice but it's not Turkey" That just about sums it up, nothing compares to Icmeler! :)

we won a holiday to Egypt and went in March it was a 5 star all inclusive right on the beach everything you could want staff could not do enough for you, we arrived on the Thursday evening and by the Sunday were ready to come home it just didnt compare to Icmeler no where to walk to no one to chat to expect husband :D

I agree with all your comments on Turkey.Think we have had at least one holiday there every year since 1997 spread between Icmeler and Altinkum. We love both.We also get to Tsilivi in Zante for two weeks each year.Completely different type of holiday but we love it there too.I will let you know how Calis Beach goes but will deffo be back in Icmeler next year.

We had same experience - went to Menorca one year and although we enjoyed it we kept thinking of Icmeler. Returned there later in the year and haven't been anywhere else since

We're off to Majorca this year which I'm kind of looking forward to but it won't be the same as my lovely Icmeler! It's the people that make Icmeler the friendly place it is and who greet you like long lost friends when you go back. I will miss that :( Barnies doing a fab job with his photos so I can get my 'fix' and keep up with developements for when I get back there. Keep up the good work. Maggie.

The previous 2 years we've done a twin centre holiday first was Calis and Icmeler and then last year Ovacik and Icmeler and have to say enjoyed both and would go back to both maybe next year, for a break after this years trip to Icmeler in September :)
