Stayed at Sun Blue last year and they aren't really on the beachfront and as much as the apartments and pool area are nice maybe not the views you would be looking for, as it's behing the Marti hotel.

Hi, We stayed at the Casa last year. Lovely beach front hotel with modern bedrooms and comfy beds. B&B or a la carte inclusive (drinks not included). Nice pool area with pool towels provided. Over 16 only. Turkish breakfast but the chef will do scrambled eggs and omelettes. Drinks are more expensive than many other places. The outdoor resturant has quite a small menu but the food is of a good standard. It is situated on quite a busy street and I have read some concernes over this although it did not bother us. The Sun Blue is down a quiet side street, not front line. Almost next door is a super-market. The rooms are basic self catering. If I remember rightly a lot of Swedish people use these apartments. A nice pool area with the usual pool snacks.
Some one has sugested the Chateu de ville. We had a look around last year, seems o.k but in a more traditional way than the Casa. Hope this helps you make up your mind. No matter where you stay its the same sun and the same friendly people. We are going back to the Casa in June, cant wait.

We stayed in the Sun Blue in May last year and really enjoyed it. Behind the Marti with a 2 minute walk to the beach past the Fortuna and 2 mins to the Canal by the Venice, therefore a great location. The apartments themselves were good, spotlessly clean and comfortable, some had balcony front and back. Got to say it was probably the quietest bar i have experienced in Icmeler with not a lot going on or the usual chatty turkish barman, maybe because it was early in the season. I would definately recommend as the location and apartments are good and indeed i tried to book for our forthcoming visit on 20th May but they are full. Very good value for money. I have stayed in Icmeler around 10 times and these apartments are as good as i have been in although not a lively bar. Cant really comment on the Casa Blanca other than to say it appears a huge improvement on its former guise the Elif where we stayed in its latter days, the location is outstanding, enjoy. Regards

We stayed at the Sun Blue in Sept 2009 & it was recommended by some Dutch people who we met regularly in the Chef restaurant.
We had an apt in the block to the right of the entrance. They were probably the best apts we've had in Icmeler but the apts in the other block which is over the little supermarket did not look as good & appeared very dark .
I know the regular Dutch clients are always in the block to the right & they do have two balconies making them much lighter inside.Good location a 3 min walk to beach or the canal & well fitted out.

Stayed there last year GD, rooms are fine altho as someone mentioned the rooms to the left of entrance can be dark, but they are cooler tho. Bar is quieter until later evening when the Brits start to return from their nights out.
All in all, we'd go back again.
