TURKISH MEZE'S

Postby SUSANMKENNEDY » 22 Mar 2011 13:40

Hi all

Just sat at work thinking about my upcoming holiday in May to Icmeler and dreaming about the delcious food. Does anyone know the recipe for the aubergine dip served at Sylivias Restaurant (they usually give you 3 free dips before your meal and this aubergine dip is one of them) or even better does anyone live there, know Sylvia and can get the recipe off her? She also does greaaaat potato cakes too. I also want a real turkish recipe for acili ezme / antep ezme. All receipes received with thanks.

Susan.

Have a look at http://www.turkishcookbook.com/

The site is Americanised so it uses American names:-

eg

Aaubergine = Egg Plant
Cougette = zucchini

Lots of wonderful recipes to try.
