Anyone stayed here. Looking for some info. Know it's situated near centre but can't much more on internet.

Daughter stayed here a couple of years ago. staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel very basic could do with a much needed face lift. She found that a lot of the break dancers etc stayed here for the season, think they were the only tourists staying at the Varol when they were there in June 2009.

Stayed there last june, it wasn't as bad as I was expecting.
Its just across the road from 3/4 bells, above captain bullshits.
Rooms are basic and dated but if you're just after a bed and shower as we were then it's not a problem. Each room has a fridge in too, though not many plug sockets - infact theres 1 in the room with the fridge plugged in and 1 in the bathroom.
We never ate breakfast so can't comment on that but the staff are nice and friendly.
The pool's an ok size for the number of people that are round it - about 7 when we were there :D but the sun does tend to disappear mid afternoon.

Hope this helps.
