Barnie has been posting fairly regular updates in the photo gallery, art - have you checked them? It's interesting to see how many changes have been taking place. As I said somewhere else, I remember a lot of trepidation before the season started last year, because of all the changes which were taking place then, and I felt most of those changes had been for the better. I'm looking forward to seeing the new changes again this year.

Thanks Redrhino for showing us the video update of the changes happening in Icmeler.
I see it was filmed by Sybel,Turgay, and Yunus, the lovely Selam restaurant family.
Hope they can give us a update when things have been finished.

just watched the video on youtube of all the changes that are happening in Icmeler I think its exciting and cant wait to see it all finished, yes we might not like some of the changes but surely certain building coming down, a new promenade and Coco beach having a terrace with probably a wonderful sea view is good for us, and don't forget its the wonderful Turkish people that make your holiday great they will still be there, I for one cannot wait :D

Whenever I see the photos or videos at this time of year I think they'll never finish in time, but every year they do an amazing job.

its good to see the video, and whats going on......but what makes me think is, what are they trying to make heaven into........there are im sure people out there who dont want it to change, and others who do, just hope they dont change it for the worse and drive the people who go every year, away, after all its the people that go every year and the beauty of icmeler that makes our holidays

Great video, thanks for posting Gene.

After all the trepidation of last year, everything worked out well, and Icmeler was still the lovely place we all love. I am looking forward to seeing the changes again this year. We are all a nation who dont like change, but once accepted, it is usually for the better and sometimes things need to change. Roll on June.

The Turkish are hard working and always get the job done.Would put us brits to shame. A couple of years ago there were builders at the far end of the prom when i walked past and on my return about 4 hours later they had built a ticket office an ice cream stand and steps leading to them. :D
