Castle Apartments booked!

Postby netballbaz » 28 Jan 2011 19:13

Hi,
Just booked 2 weeks in May at Castle Apartments, Icmeler. Normally stay close to center and know most of the bars and restaurants. Don't know about bars and restaurants in old village close to the Castle Apartments. Can anyone recommend any? We would like to get to know this area as well as occassionally venturing back down to the center.
Look forward to your recommendations
Thanx xx

Bill it wasn't meant to funny.

In the ladies first post she asked for a place in the town as she had just been operated on and may not be fit in time

I hope to see you there. I have booked once again for the Castle apartemnts for last week in May first week in June., my 3rd stay at these apartments. As JT and Bill have advised they are in a residential area and the nearest bar is about a 10 minute walk away. The apartments are up a bit of a hill, but once there the views across Icmeler are fabulous.

The staff there Oscar and his family are wonderful people.

Plenty of good eating places within 10/15 minute slow stroll, Ozzys is excellent, Cubana, Captain Sinbads. I find the Deja Vu a bit hit and miss, mainly good but a few meals have been slightly disappopinting

Thanx Stewart for your reply,
Can't wait to get back to Icmeler. We have been doing a bit of research on bars and restaurants in old village. However we are really looking forward to getting to know Oscar and his family as we are firm believers of getting to know our hosts and making the most of their hospitality. We all love making the most of the facilities on site and always make a point of having our last drink or two at the bar!!!! We are really ready for our holiday now....

We stayed there last May and it was a briliant holiday - the apartments are basic but very clean and we had 4 balconies.... Yes Oscar and family and of course the chef! are very friendly - you will enjoy it, it is very peaceful around the 2 pools during the day and not too far to the bars in a taxi (if you prefer) - fab....
