Any suggestions please?

Postby WonderGirl » 18 Dec 2010 17:50

Hi all!

I'm going back to our home 9th June for weeks - cannot wait!

I'm looking for recommendations for somewhere new to stay. I am going with my friend who has never been (I've been 7times) both 21. I'm looking somewhere central, self catering or B&B.
The Grass apartmens came to my attention, I understand these are not ICR so if anyone has any feedback on them please PM/e-mail me :-)

I'm looking forward to you suggestions
Thank so much

Hi,
We`ve stayed at the Bonjour(hotel), Ustun aparts and Mete aparts, all with reach of the centre. The Bonjour, being the hotel rooms had no s/c facilities other than kettle, mini bar fridge and hairdryer, Ustun full s/c facilities, 2 ring hob, kettle, hairdryer etc. Mete same as Ustun, but no hairdryer. All accoms were spotless, pools were good, Mete and Bonjour got sun all day, Bonjour has a separate jacuzzi. Mete has a excellent bar attached (Sabri`s), All accoms are by ICR and are all excellent in their own way. We would recommend all of them depending on your requirements. Speak to ICR, they will help you decide.

After reading all the recommendations on here about the Chateau de Ville, hubby and I went and asked for a tour around, but we weren't all that impressed to be honest - certainly can't agree with LynnJenny - we didn't think it was anywhere near the standard of the Bonjour, which is why we'll be back at the Bonjour in June!

I'd recommend the Kapmar (though you need to request a room at the front) - cheap, clean, adequate and central... can't go wrong.

Mazz: I stayed at the Kapmar june 2010. it was good, i didnt mind the back view as our "neighbours" were the no name staff who i've known for awhile now so it was such a laugh! I'll probs end up back at these ones but i was just hoping to try something different as there is soo many places that look nice :-) Only negative I have about the Kapmar is you struggle to get 2 sunbeds together no matter what time :-( me and my cousin were at the pool a mamimum 3 or 4 times :-O i sunbathed on the balcony.. or went walks hehe!

Thanks for all your suggestions, booking on the 27th Dec so i will let you all know where i book if ICR accommodation.
