Anyone know where i can get some efes ?

I want to get some efes for part of my mum's christmas as a little surprise anyone know where i can get it or get it delivered in uk ( Glasgow ) ?

You can buy it in Morrison's supermarkets, or if you have, or know someone who has a Makro card, they sell cases of it too.

Exactly the answer I was going to give, the last time I got it from Morrisons it was £1.30 for a litre bottle I believe.

My son got me a case for Fathers Day from Makro (what a lad !!!) so I dont know how much, but I have suggested a repeat for Chrissy

Not all Wetherspoons sell it cause the one beside us stopped at the beginning of the year just when I was wanting a wee taste refresher to remind me of my hols. Got it in Morrisons though Mags

HI... I don't think the efes from morrisons tastes the same, quite malty and in a different shaped bottle. The efes from weatherspoons is in the chubby bottle and tastes divine. Think you can buy the chubby bottles online from turkishsupermarket.com.

We have managed to buy it in our Tesco here in Hornchurch and also we have bought it in Morrisons. The only thing is they dont always have it in stock.

We have a new Turkish restaurant here in Hornchurch where they sell it but have not tried it yet.

I do agree with you Collette though it never quite tastes the same. Think the lack of hot sunshine has something to do with it - oh and maybe the general ambience.

Hubby saw it in Morrisons last night £1.43 a bottle I think. He resisted temptation though but I bet we end up back there on Saturday We could also put a pint glass in the freezer for the ice cold Efes and then sit in front of a sun lamp ...... would that have the same effect?? Mmmmmm maybe not

My wife bought me two bottles yesterday from Morrisons, £1.49 each. They were tall pint bottles rather than the short fat bottles you get in Turkey.

They went down a treat when I got in after a 12 hour day and didn't last more than 30 minutes.

I always think that too - I think they have a special ingredient they add in Icmeler LOL
