hi,
this will probably only apply to the ladies, but we go away for 14 days and i just wondered what clothes i.e how many, skirts, trousers, dresses people take. i try to take 7 outfits for the evening and then i can wear them twice. i know a lot of people don't bother to get dressed up at night but thats part of my holiday to dress up at night. what do other people think? :?:
best wishes,
skilly

I like making the effort too at night cos I don't go out at home!!

I try and take 10 outfits for a 2 week hol, and as long as you're not going in July/August then a couple of pairs of [dressy] jeans pay dividends cos you can wear them a couple of times and get away with it

In july/aug, I LOVE white linen trousers and take 4 pairs!

There are some laundries in Icmeler which I believe are very reasonable so you could always take less clothes than you need and drop them off to get rid of the evidence if you want to wear them again

One of my friends gets all their clothes washed and ironed there during the hol so she's got plenty to wear without the nightmare of doing them all when she gets home (and she's Socottish) - so there's more room in the suitcase for all of her bargains !!!!!!!!!!

Well, years of reading articles to learn how to pack the capsule wardrobe into a make-up bag(ha ha) followed by Trinny and Susannah telling me how to co-ordinate the capsule wardrobe I don't think I'm the best to comment.
I'm too embarrassed to list the contents of my suitcase - suffice to say I don't dress up. My daughter takes outfits for each day and each evening with about 10pairs of shoes (flats, sandals etc) and the whole range of accessories. I always wish I'd taken more - or should I say a bettter range. One year I left the pile of "takes" on the bed and took the pile of "leave at home" and spent the week in dark colours! I'm off now to get online and ask Trinny and Susannah as I think I'm in need of some serious wardrobe help.

I'm a "just in caser" .... take 7 things for 14 days and then another 7 things just in case ..... logical ..... to me anyway!
