Well thats me had my op this morning, everything seems to have gone to plan but got to stay in hospital for about a week, then hopefully a full recovery in 6 weeks so I can re-book my holiday.

A week Speedy recovery daviemc, just 2 weeks post op for me and getting there slowly!! My hoilday is 6 weeks tomorrow so fingers crossed for me and you too xx

Thanks Colette, hope to get booked for august, it depends on my insurance paying out for my cancelled flights, they said it could be a while due to the volume of claims for the ash cloud fiasco.

Well I went and shown the wife who is boss.
I washed the pots and hoovered the lounge and dining room, so she is now sat in front of the tele watching tennis but is all embaresed that I have took charge.
Maybe I will do the ironing today just to rub it in.

Having listened to the national news over the last few days I have to ask? Are there really people who have sympathy or even worse, people who admire the acts of Raol Moat ?

I cant understand that girl doing him a facebook page, saying he was a legend the page had 30,000 + fans

I have absolutely no sympathy at all. The only sympathy I have is for the poor policeman and his family and the families who have lost loved ones and have had their lives ruined by that moron. As for the people who have put up sympathy pages on Facebook, I think Facebook should take the pages off as they are an insult to the people who were shot and the families left behind to try and rebuild their lives. R.I.P to all those people who died

I agree, facebook should never have allowed this fan page for him, I went for a nosey on it and the things people were saying was unbelievable, people were almost congratulating him

Distributing child pornography ................. Don't understand how we can call this a British justice system... He didn't even have to go to court, he gave his plea via a video link up, AND when he gets out he gets another new identity!!

Where is the justice in that ? More millions of tax payers money spent on a useless imbecile, who shouldn't be walking this earth.
