Just over 6 weeks to go before we get back

With the economic climate being what it is, and the fact that people want to ensure their money goes as far as possible, we thought we would share some of our money saving tactics. If you have any of your own, please feel free to share them.
Can i ask that we try

1. Buy a cheap sandwich toaster from argos (£5 ish) and get your cheese/meat from tansas - viola you've got your lunch sorted... Also Breakfast from time to time.
2. Same thing as above food wise, make some butties before you fly back - we all know about the daylight robbery in Dalaman, and this way you can tuck in to some decent food in the airport when other people are being ripped off.
3. Get some duty free on the way out, so can have a drink before you go out. Also the price of beer in tansas is very reasonable, so if you have a fridge....
4. Mudurnu chicken has always been good to get a cooked chicken from, to strip for sandwiches etc.
5. If you've got children, why pay for an airplane meal that they're probably not going to eat? For less money you can nip down to your nearest Asda etc. before you go and get your chicken nuggets etc.

6. Again for kids, Tansas do sachets of powder that when you add your botteld water, you have cordial like at home. Saves giving them pop all the time and costs buttons.
7. If you dont have a travel kettle, or their isnt a kettle in your room then for a couple of quid you can pick one up in a electical shop at the back of Marmaris bazaar.
8. It would do you no harm to take a trip to one of the big supermarkets in marmaris to stock up when you first get there - could save you a fortune.
Just a few things that have helped us in the past.
