I would write to them again and formally raise a complaint - its only once these timescales have elapsed will the ombudsman look at your case. However a formal complaint will usually get the company moving, as if they don't - the ombudsman will automatically give you the claim in full.
RE Ombudsman, are we talking about financial ombudsman with regards to credit card/financial claims here?
As myself an BOBUK both have gripes with Huntswood who are dealing with claims that are being processed by the CAA where section 75 didn't apply. I may be wrong but as far as i'm aware there is nobody you can complain too about the CAA/Huntswood's handling of these claims.
If there is could somebody please supply details as i'm just about ready to kick up a right stink
