@ Colette you sound like my Mother inlaw.
Always take a little bottle of dettol or savlon - for the same reasons Colette mentioned really, give everywhere a quick flick over with Dettol and know it's only your own dirt around then
We always take some thin (light weight) beach towels and use them as back ups inside the apartments after showers etc or for round the pool or rolling up and putting in our bag for days out.
We used to take andrex moist wipes (or baby wipes) but since we discovered the botty wash loos in Turkey they're a thing of the past

Altho they're good to have in your bag to freshen up on the beach or clean off the sun lotion off your hands.
We also take one of those alcohol hand gels in our bag to use if we want to clean our hands and can't get to a sink or just to freshen them up before eating out.
Always keep some loose change from previous trips to Turkey for the
transfer to resort when they stop off for a loo stop and you have to put money in the box. Or just book the
ICR transfer and bypass the stop off
Don't go anywhere without a sarong in my bag - just to cover up it if gets too hot - they were a god send last year.
