Gyms

Postby Gemma Louise » 10 Jul 2010 21:12

Hiya

I know this may sound sad!!!!!! but I have been going to the gym almost every day (managing to lose 4 1/2 stone) and am heading to Icmeler in a couple days and would like to keep up a little exercise. Where can I go to do this? Please help!!!!! (I am staying at the Navy Hotel)

Congratulations on your weight lost, Maybe we should have a chat as I could do with the same, I have never seen a gym in Icmeler so can;t help you but I am sure someone will be along soon to help. I must say I always loose weight in Icmeler as I swim, walk, play which is something I don;t do at home.

I think the nearest Gyms are in Marmaris.
Why not just walk the length of the promenade a couple of times.
Go swimming.
Or do excercises in the sea.
There are always ways to keep fit.

The Marti has a gym, which I know some of the locals have an arrangement to use, but I've never gotten into the details with anyone.

And Gene, how can you forget some of the nice relaxing strolls in the surrounding countryside? :D

I know there is a small gym in the mersoy.
Congratulations on your weight loss. As someone who has spent the last 20 years training to a reasonable standard 5 days a week minimum I always use my holidays as a holiday from the gym. You might put a couple of pounds back on but you'll return home with a fresh enthusiasm for training. It also helps to give your body a rest.

They say that the Marti has the best equipped gym in Icmeler. I think that they charge a fee of 100TL per month for the use of it.

I'm sorry but why the hell would anyone whos going on holiday ask for a gym, what you have achieved is amazing, take a break let your hair down, or else it will become an obsession. I'm certain you know the foods to eat anyway over there, just pound it in the pool. Im a 15 stoner trying to go down to 12...7 weeks off the fags as well, aint easy but just grab the world by its throat mate.
