Wembley Bar

Postby Bazza » 13 Apr 2009 18:56

Amongst all the new bars opening this summer is one called 'Wembley Restaurant and Fun Pub'
It's owned and run by 'Rodney' who used to work in Troy Bar, Bahar Apartments and others. He's also been in Marmaris the last couple of summers.. Here's the man himself:

EDIT: Pic removed as not allowed in this forum
Oops! It's here now

He's in the old village and opening on 20th April and I for one will be visiting him if I can raise enough money to go this year.
I'd like to wish him - and all the other bar owners - all the best for the coming summer.[/url]

I wonder if he has taken over the property where the Dost restaurant was as that was closed last year, there was also another place closed on the left as you walk from Dost to Ozzy's.

As we are staying towards that part of town when we go at the end of April, we'll try and find time to pay him a visit (or two!).

Thanks for the info :)

Not to sure were this place is but will make a point of finding it when we come over at the end of June.
Will have 16 from Ireland with us this year, can't wait getting so excited.

Hi Gurkan (Rodney) I could not believe it when I saw your photo on the forum. We had a great time with you when you were at the Bahar. We will certainly come and visit the restaurant when we return to Icmeler on the 29th July. (we will never forget your famous words "how's it hanging"!
We would like to wish you well in your new restaurant.

For rodney or anyone interested in pushing his new bar.

We have a facility on our homepage to enable him to advertise and rates can be found if they send a mail to [email protected]
