Hi, prices when we were there last month were as reasonable as can be expected.

Efes anywhere from 7 Lira - 14 Lira+ depending which establishment you were at and meals were cheap too at many places

People make a big thing about exchange rates, but they’re not daft and the majority of the menus have bits of paper down the side with this seasons prices hand written on them, which have increased as the Lira has went up

Enjoy your holiday!

We're just back and didn't find prices had increased all that much, to be honest - when you take the exchange rate into account. Great value set meals at many places and you can still eat very well at very reasonable prices. You can get an English breakfast for less than £1 if that's your thing.

No, if anything, it was hotter than usual for the time of year - absolutely roasting most days and very, very humid. To be honest, it was just too hot for me - we don't usually go until September, but we were travelling with my son and his wife and their little boy this time and we were tied to my son's holiday dates. There was very little breeze most days...
